about Gábor

Gábor legújabb álma épp most valósult meg. A truewhy saloon egy régi kiszuperált cirkuszi lakókocsi restaurálásával létrejött, kívül autentikus, belül modern print és dizájn galéria, ahol a neked tetsző képek helyben kinyomtathatók, hazavihetők, de persze a világ bármely zugából online is megrendelhetők.
A kis mobil galéria a SZIGET 2011 fesztiválon indul útjára.
Akassz álmokat a faladra!
> Gabor Matyasi is a self-taught photographer, who got involved in photography a few years ago. The world he takes photos of is not the real world but a surreal world he created. A world that is absurd and beautiful at the same time.
> In the world of dreams everything is possible, there are no limits for the mind. But – unfortunately – these dreams can be seen only by the dreamer. Gabor lets us into his impressive imaginary world through his photos, videos and movies.
> Dreams are not real, but his pictures are. He never uses digital tricks, the objects and compositions are hand-made, showing strictly reality. The forks are curved in fact, the worm is actually crawling out of the light bulb, the snail is adorned with Swarovsky gems for real. There is no digital manipulation.
> Gabor’s latest dream has just come true. The TRUEWHY SALOON is established in an old, restored circus-trailer. It looks authentic from the outside, but houses a modern print and design gallery, where you can chose pictures and get them printed out. You can also place your order online from any part of the world.
